Have You Heard All The Talk About The HCG Diet?

The special drops used in together with decreased daily calorie intake constitute the HCG diet. On a low calorie diet, the body burns up the day's calorie intake earlier and begins to burn fat as a source of fuel instead. Low calorie diets themselves force the body to burn more fat once calories run out, but the addition of the special drops helps to maintain muscle mass during this process. Negative side effects, such as fatigue or irritability, which commonly accompany low-calorie diets can be avoided with the use of HCG drops. While on the HCG diet, the body restructures the way it usually uses stored fat and regular calorie intake. There are three stages in the special diet beginning with the introduction phase, the training phase, and the continued maintenance phase.

The special diet starts off with a high calorie intake while starting use of the HCG drops supplement. This process helps the body to re-adjust its natural fat regulating system to burn more calories and fat when the low calorie diet is begun. Hunger during the low-calorie stage of the diet is lessened because of the initial high calorie intake during the initial phase. The body begins to burn stored fat during the second portion of the special diet in which low-calorie intake ensures that fat will provide a necessary fuel source throughout the process.

Once the drops have triggered the body's metabolism to restructure as a fat-burning machine, the maintenance phase of the diet begins. Calorie intake begins to increase back to regular levels, and the use of formula is no longer necessary in the maintenance phase of the special diet.

The body's new, rearranged fat-burning process should not be upset by higher calorie intake, and the increase needs to be done slowly. Closely monitoring weight during the maintenance phase of the diet will help to keep the body's new fat-handling procedures during the increase of calorie intake.

Since the diet plan requires low calorie intake, it is suggested that the physical activity portion of the diet consist only of light exercise. As the body is already burning stored fat because of the lower-calorie intake, heavy exercise could cause fatigue and starvation The hormones in the drops will not affect a woman's menstrual cycle, and there are no other apparent side effects of the program. Higher calorie intakes needed for nourishment during pregnancy cause the the plan to produce little to no results if used by pregnant women.
