The Main Causes of Most Weight Gain


To be overweight is an issue that have kept most folks from around the world awake all night. People take one prescription or the other to lose weight but most of the time they fail to lose weight and when weight loss is achieved the fats appear as soon as they disappeared. Most of the time the unsolved problem is; people ignore the root. The first step to achieving a sustainable weight loss is to know what causes your weight gain. When people know the cause of their weight gain it would be easier to choose which strategy to use in order to achieve a substantial and sustainable weight loss. Here are some of the possible factors that causes weight gain.

Lack of physical Activities: When you take too much calories coupled with sedentary lifestyle without creating a way for physical activities like exercising the body to burn off accumulated fats. This can make you gain weight.

Your emotional state: Some people developed the habit to take solace in over feeding when they feel sad, depressed, stressed etc. Even when they are not hungry this can cause accumulation of fat.
Familial tendency: Some people may be overweight due to genes inherited from the family. Your genetics play an important role in your gaining or losing weight. When you find it very hard losing weight when taking weight loss prescription or placed in a particular exercise like most of your siblings do, then blame it your genes.

Illnesses and metabolic problems: Some illness can affect your metabolism. people gain weight as a result of illnesses and metabolic rate. Diseases like hypothyroidism can affect your metabolic rate thereby limit the way your body burns off stored fats. Depression can increase your appetite for food thereby increasing your daily intake. when you notice these situation, consult your health care provider.
Medicine intake: Some people may notice changes in their body when using certain medication. Medicine intake can cause abnormal weight gain. When you notice weight gain with your medication consult your health care provider for immediate solution.

Your environment: Your environment can be a major barrier to your weight loss. You may live in an environment where you cannot resist the temptation of taking too many calorie in a day and don't have access to the Gym centre or in the midst of overweight persons that are not working towards losing weight the way you do.This may hinder your efforts towards losing weight.
